Feasting in Hungary: 2017. március 20-a

Sziasztok!
This week was a pretty busy one. We had some great lessons, went to Budapest, and had an exchange.
We met with the Hingyi family. They have been meeting with the missionaries for over a year now, and the dad got baptizted in december. Lessons with them are fun, and they really love the missionaries. They've come to church for the last three weeks now, which was really great.
We met with Eszter, she's an grandma who is raising some of her grandkids. She's usually stressed, but we help her out. She came to church on sunday for the first time. That was cool.
We also met with Panni. She's an older lady who lives alone, and she's been meeting with the missionaries for a while. She's a fun one. Elder Heaps and I met her on exchanges and talked about a lot of good stuff. We also gave her a bap. date for the middle of May. That was really fun. Elder Heaps was awesome.

We had MLC this week, which was fun. President Szabadkai gave us a lot of good advice and teachings. We learned a lot, and tomorrow we get to teach that to the zone. That'll be fun.
We had exchanges with the Elders in Pécs, Elder Heaps and Elder Suggs. Elder Heaps was the Assistant when I came to the country, and he'll be going home after the transfer. He is a really awesome missionary and I had a great time working with him. Elder Aardema was with Elder Suggs, who is a new missionary. He is also a lot of fun.

That is pretty much our week. It was a lot of fun, and we have been really busy. The branch here is awesome and the members love to help us, so things have been going really well. We had 5 investigators at church, the sisters had 2 and the branch fellowshipped so great. It was really cool to see. The members here are so strong and awesome.
We sang if you could hie to Kolob as the opening hymn, and later a member texted us asking what Kolob was. that was a funny moment.

I was studying power and authority today in preparation for our training. I was reading Helaman 5:14-29. It was really cool. Nephi and Lehi taught with such power and authority and God supported them. What they did to earn this power was follow the prophet and keep the commandments. I know that if we do these things, God will support us. He never leaves us alone. We remove ourselves from Him. He never changes and we can always rely on Him.

so we took pictures and she made it again.) On the left is Sister Greenwood. She is in her last transfer. She's from new mexico. She's training Sister Bassett (who is the next one in the picture). Sister Bassett is from South Carolina. She's a fun one. Then you have us Elders. Good times.
